Sooo…I am back in Fuji-lalaland. In one of the previous posts, I shared already some of the first photos taken with my latest Fuji acquisition: a Fuji x100v.
I found a used model in black for a reasonable price and just went for it. I think this was a good decision. It has much better ergonomics than the X-E4. It is much faster than the X-M1 and much better than my former X-T2. I am still not 100% convinced by the sensor in this camera, but maybe that is something I can address with some recipes.
Anyways: the x100v is really fun to use. I am really enjoying holding it. I really like the 35mm full-frame equivalent lens (btw: I still have to post my experience with the Fuji X-pro1 and the 35mm f1.4, which I ‘rented’ before going for the x100v). My current setup is:
- Ricoh GR II
- Fuji x100v
- Nikon D90 (with two lenses: Nikkor 18-300mm, and I am currently waiting for the delivery of a used Nikkor 35mm) I am looking forward to testing out the 35mm on the Nikon D90. It would give me excellent coverage on fixed lenses with the three cameras.
Here are some more examples taken with the Fuji x100v:
